A session court in Lahore has directed Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) to file a case against Meera for his leaked video clip.

Earlier on, court has directed police to file a case against the actress but they took a stance that they don’t have required jurisdiction in the matter and only FIA is the right authority to be asked to file such a case. Concurring with stand of police, court has asked the authority to register a case against actress and submit a report on the issue.

Meera has come under great heat ever since her sexual video clip went viral on internet. It even resulted in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) appeal to be filed in court of Lahore taking the stance that video of Meera with her alleged husband has brought shame to the country. Pakistan telecommunication Authority (PTA) has since banned the video but it couldn’t save the couple from being summoned repeatedly by the court.

Meera has challenged people in Pakistan to prove that it was actually her in the video as she says that it was someone else who was wearing a mask that carried a face like hers.
