CNIC verification
Write your CNIC number in an SMS without dashes and send it to 7000. You’ll get verification that no one else has made a fake id card out of your CNIC number. SMS to 7000 is charged at Rs. 10
Vehicle Verification
Send your vehicle (motor cycle/car) number plate number on 9966 to know that on whose name it has been registered. You’ll also receive full detail of the vehicle like chesses number, engine number and model details. So simply text your registration in this format ABC 1234 OR ABC 07 1234.
SIM registration Information
Check out how many SIMs are registered against your CNIC by sending your CNIC number without dashes to 668. In case you think that you don’t actually own a particular SIM, go to the concerned franchise of the cellular company with your original CNIC and get that SIM blocked.
SIM information
If you want to know that on whose name your SIM is being registered then simply write MNP and send it to 667. You’ll receive information of the actual owner of the SIM via SMS on your phone.
IMEI number
Every phone has a special number assigned to it which is called IMEI number. In case of theft, this IMEI can be used to block your phone. In order to know the IMEI number, simply dial *#06# and IMEI number of your phone shall appear. Note down that number and keep it saved with you so that you can use it at time of theft.
